Requirements
ReceptionBook.com was developed as an internet based system that could be used with any browser on any computer. To achieve this we started with a design constraint of using standard browser functionality only. We have not used any plugins that would require additional downloads or that would not be available at internet cafes.
The only software you need for running the system is :
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8 or later OR Mozilla Firefox Version 3.5.4
or later
- Adobe Acrobat PDF reader for viewing downloaded invoices or itineraries
- Skype, we use the chat system on skype to communicate with our clients from our
customer service centre
All of which are available for free download.
All reports can be downloaded as a csv file allowing them to be opened in Excel,
QuickBooks, Tally and many other accounting software packages.
